Whitney Young Studio

Whitney is a woodworker and teacher from New England whose work is rooted in simplicity and a close relationship to nature. He asked me to photograph a collection of pieces for his portfolio, and we collaborated on the art direction and styling. The approach was intentionally minimal soft natural tones, subtle surfaces, and gentle light to reflect the material and let the work speak for itself.
